The Eye Unit Outpatient Clinic operates Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The clinic offers general outpatient services across nine consulting rooms, with care provided at highly subsidized rates to make quality eye care accessible to all.
In 2025, the Eye Unit proudly celebrates 50 years of service since its establishment in 1975. Over the decades, the unit has restored and preserved the vision of thousands of patients, advancing eye care through compassion, expertise, and state-of-the-art technology. The Eye Unit provides a wide range of diagnostic services, including:
Visual Field Analysis for patients with glaucoma and neurological conditions, and in the assessment of driving eligibility
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for diagnosis and monitoring of retinal, macular, glaucoma, and optic nerve diseases
Modern Biometry for precise intraocular lens power measurement
Our operating theatre services include intraocular and extraocular surgeries, laser treatments, and modern anesthesia procedures, all supported by advanced operating microscopes and state-of-the-art equipment.
