Position Details

Position: Physiotherapist

Location: Kikuyu

Reports to: Rehab Unit Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment aimed at restoring function, relieving pain, preventing disability, and improving patients overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

· Administer physiotherapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training.

· Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

· Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation, prevention, and home-based care programs.

· Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.

· Ensure adherence to infection prevention, safety, and professional standards.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and continuity of care.

· Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure proper utilization.

· Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution

· Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy healthcare setting.

· Registered with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)

· Valid practicing license
