Eye Unit Department

The eye unit Outpatient clinic runs from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The clinic has general outpatient services with 9 consulting rooms. Services are offered at highly subsidized rates.

The eye unit has a wide range of diagnostic services which include:

  • Visual Field Analysis of patients with glaucoma and neurological illnesses and in the assessment of driving.

  • Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for diagnosis and monitoring of retinal, macula, glaucoma and optic nerve diseases.

  • Modern biometry for intraocular lens power measurement.

  • Operating theatre services include intraocular and extraocular surgeries and laser treatment with modern operating microscopes and state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment.
