Wards
Kikuyu Hospital has a 218 ward bed capacity with outstanding facilities and professional nursing care.
All wards are headed by an in-charge sister and supported by nurses, student nurses and cleaning staff.
Female ward
These wards take care of female patients suffering from medical conditions
Male ward
These wards take care of male patients suffering from medical conditions
Pediatrics
The ward takes care of children under the age of twelve years both male and female.
Private
The private ward offers private rooms to all occupants who need to be isolated.
Meals
The hospital catering department provides an average of 200 patient meals every day and approximately 300 visitors, staff and student meals. All meals are freshly cooked and prepared in the kitchens where high hygiene standards are maintained continuously. Patients are served three meals per day and on doctors instructions, other meals may be provided. Patient meals are our top priority, as proper nutrition is essential in recuperation.
Special dietary requirements should be forwarded to the hospital's nutritionist on admission.
